The product
Typo is an app for Windows 10 and 11 and macOS 12 or later that fixes common typos as you type. It works in most apps but deliberately stays out of password fields, terminals, code editors and some other apps. It fixes only words it is confident about and will not catch every mistake.
Free plan
Each computer gets 500 corrections per calendar month (UTC) free of charge. After that, Typo pauses corrections until the next month. Normal typing is never blocked.
Typo Unlimited
€5.90 per month per computer, including VAT where applicable. The subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time in the billing portal from your account; Unlimited stays active until the end of the paid period.
Money-back guarantee and right of withdrawal
If Typo is not for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. This also covers the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and UK.
Gifts
Gifts are prepaid for 1, 3 or 12 months, never renew, and are delivered as a single-use code by email. A code activates one computer. Refunded or disputed gift payments cancel the code.
Licence and fair use
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Typo on the computer you activated. You may move a subscription to a new computer from your account once every 30 days. Do not reverse engineer, resell or misuse the service.
Updates and availability
The app downloads updated correction rules and offers app updates. We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Corrections keep working offline.
Liability
Typo is provided with care but without warranties beyond those required by law. Always review important text before sending it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the UAE. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims there. Contact us first at me@karllillrud.com and we will try to resolve it.
